Your neighbour, someone in Japan and a player in Brazil all face the identical puzzle that day, so every score is directly comparable. Play the Daily Challenge each day to build your streak, shown as a flame in the game. Miss a day and your streak resets to zero, so true Zen Blocks fans come back every single day. A countdown in the game shows exactly when the next daily puzzle unlocks.
Scores and the Worldwide Leaderboard
Zen Blocks keeps track of everything for you, automatically. Your best score in Endless mode, your daily results and your streak are all saved, and if you leave in the middle of a game you simply continue where you left off next time. But there is more: after each game you can submit your score with your name to the worldwide leaderboard. Tap the trophy button in the game to see the Top 10 of today and the all-time Top 10, for both the Daily Challenge and Endless mode. The daily Top 10 starts empty every morning, so every day is a fresh chance to claim the number one spot. Can you get your name on the board?
How Scoring Works
You earn points for every piece you place, and much bigger rewards for clearing lines. Clear a row, column or 3×3 square and you score bonus points; clear several at once for an extra multi-clear bonus. The real secret to a top score is the combo system: clear lines on consecutive moves and every following clear is worth more and more. Experienced players plan two or three moves ahead to keep their combo chain alive as long as possible.
