Community Guidelines

In the community, players share their own photos as jigsaw puzzles for everyone to play. To keep it friendly and safe for all ages, we have a few simple rules.

Two ways to share

Send to friends

A private link for friends and family. Only people with the link can play. Almost any picture is fine, also photos of your children or grandchildren. No account needed.

Share with everyone

Your puzzle appears in the community with your name. Anyone can play it. Only photos and pictures you made yourself, following the rules below.

What you can share with everyone

Tip: sharp and colorful photos with lots of detail make the nicest puzzles.

What you cannot share with everyone

How many can I share?

You can share up to 3 puzzles with everyone per day, and 1 of those can be an AI image. In total you can have up to 30 community puzzles. Want to share a new one? Delete an old one on your profile. Sending puzzles to friends with a private link has no such limit.

Comments

Under every puzzle you can write a comment when you are signed in. Be kind, and do not put links, email addresses or phone numbers in comments. Every comment is checked. See a comment that is not OK? Press "Report". If you made the puzzle, you can delete comments under it.

What happens after you share

  1. We check your photo. Most photos are checked within seconds.
  2. Approved? Your puzzle is live right away. You get a link to send to others.
  3. Not sure? A person checks it within 1 to 2 days. You can see the status on your profile.
  4. Not accepted? We tell you why. You can still send the photo to friends with a private link. Think we got it wrong? Press "Ask for a second check" and we look again right away.

Questions

How long does the check take?

Most photos are checked within seconds. If we are not sure, a person looks at it within 1 to 2 days. You can see the status on your profile page under "My puzzles".

Why can I not share photos of my children or grandchildren?

Community puzzles are public. Anyone can see them, and search engines can find them. Children cannot agree to that themselves, so we never show them publicly. You can still send these photos to family with a private link. That link is only for the people you send it to.

My photo was not accepted. Can I try again?

Yes. Read the reason we showed you, and try another photo you took yourself. You can also send the same photo to friends and family with a private link.

I think my photo was refused by mistake. What can I do?

Press "Ask for a second check" below the message, or on your profile page next to the picture. We look again right away, more carefully, and you see the answer within a few seconds. You can do this once per picture.

Does the title matter?

Yes. We look at the photo together with its title and description. A nice photo with a mocking or political title is not shown publicly. A short explanation of where and what it is can help.

Why can I not share with everyone for a few days?

If several pictures of the same person are refused in a short time because of advertising, politics or pictures that are not their own, that person cannot share with everyone for a few days. Honest mistakes, like a photo with children, do not count.

Can I remove my puzzle later?

Yes. Go to your profile page, find the puzzle under "My puzzles" and press "Delete". It is gone from the community right away.

Someone shared a photo that is mine or not suitable. What do I do?

Press "Report" below the puzzle. We look at every report. After a few reports the puzzle goes offline right away until we have checked it.
